MySQL Preacher

The blog entries, topics, scenarios and details published on MySQLPreacher are all tried and tested on *NIX platforms be it Solaris, Linux or Mac OS 10.5. It is always good practice to try code and commands included in any blogs read in order to understand better how things work, but you should especially remember to do so for my blogs if you are working on Windows servers.

I do most of my work on Mac or Sun Solaris servers thus any scripting despite it should work on Linux and Cygwin (on Windows) should be thoroughly tested before used on any critical systems.

PS ALWAYS TEST STUFF ON TEST / DEVELOPMENT SERVERS NON PRODUCTION, QA or PRE PRODUCTION SERVERS.
