Do you have to wear a mask at the Saint Louis Zoo?
Masks/face coverings are required indoors for all guests age five and older, including those who are vaccinated. Guests age five and older not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks/face coverings both indoors and outdoors. Masks should cover one’s mouth and nose.
How long does it take to walk through the St Louis Zoo?
If you visit all the exhibit areas at you are looking at 4-7 hours and that would be with much reflection and time spent reading all postings/information centers at all exhibits. You may of course easily skip much of that if you are visiting with small children and tailor your visit to be as little as 2-5 hours.

The basic weekend price of going inside the arch is currently $12-16 for adults (less if you have a National Park Passport) and $8-12 for children under 15. Does the Arch sway?
Is the Arch moving? The Arch is designed to sway as much as 18 inches, and can withstand an earthquake, however under normal conditions the Arch does not sway. It takes a 50-mile an hour wind to move the top 1 1/2 inches each side of center.
Can you go up inside the St Louis Arch?
There are no facilities at the top of the Arch; there was never a snack bar or restaurant at the top. Can we walk down the stairs? There are 1076 steps in the stairways of each leg, and they are used by maintenance personnel only; visitors are not allowed to walk up or down.
