This article is in need of a clean-up. You can help the wiki by cleaning up the article. Forest Hives, when mined with any Scoop, will always drop a Forest Bee princess and usually a Forest Bee drone and Honey Comb. When mined with your hand or any other tool, the hive will break and drop nothing.
What do you do with extra bees in forestry?
The only use for the extra drones you get is to allow you to cross breed bees between hives as well as sometimes having different traits on them. Which is really only useful when breeding bees and if you are using a automatic system then the best thing to do is void/dump them in lava.
