The reason for me the ending was so bad wasn’t the fact it made no sense, made Season 9 pointless (It was worse than Scrubs S9 which was more of a spinoff anyway) and went against 9 years of the show. It was the fact that it was so clearly written in 2006 during between seasons 1 and 2.
